We are extremely proud to announce "Project IHS Sound System."  Our reunion committee set an early goal to raise enough additional money to provide a new Public Address Sound System for the Independence High School gymnasium.  Through event sales, advertisements, sales of mugs and t-shirts, and donations (both small and large) we have secured the needed funds to begin purchasing a new, sorely needed, system for our high school.

We thank you all for helping us make our reunion event more than just a time to reminisce, but also a time that will make an impact our school and future students.

UPDATE (Oct 2, 2010): I'm excited to announce that the new sound system will be delivered to the school on Tuesday (Oct 5) and should be installed and ready to use by Friday (Oct 8). This means that the gymnasium will be pumpin' up the volume on Saturday (Oct 9) when Indy hosts the Coalfield Conference Volleyball Tournament.
