I first joined the class of '78 in the eleventh grade. I attended Concord College after graduation where I received a teaching degree. I've been teaching in Raleigh County since 1983 and am currently teaching second grade at Shady Spring Elementary. I am now living in Jumping Branch with my husband, J.P., and have two grown stepsons. I have many fond memories of the time I spent at Independence High and I'm looking forward to seeing many old friends and classmates.
